Ronaldo holds a BSc in Geography and Economics from the University of the West Indies at Mona (UWI). He has experience in project management, having led the development and execution of several major initiatives at the university and national levels.

At the UWI, Ronaldo led the Debating and Public Speaking Society (President 2019-2021) and Model UN (Head Delegate 2021; Secretary 2019-2021), including in multiple competitions.

In 2019, Ronaldo debated on the team that broke to the finals of the Pan-American Universities Debating Championship in Panama City, the first time a Caribbean team broke to a major international debate final. Ronaldo's volunteer work has focused on debate and MUN coaching. As a Research Assistant at CAPRI, Ronaldo has contributed to work on the care economy, the labour market, and other areas.
