
The Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CAPRI), a public policy think tank that conducts research to inform economic, social, environmental, and governance policies, is now accepting Internship applications:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct public policy research and analysis on Jamaica and the broader Caribbean region.
- Track, interpret, and present key economic statistics, reports, and events.
- Support policy projects through data management, report drafting, and preparation of briefing materials.
- Assist with planning and logistics for events, meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
This internship provides valuable experience in applied policy research, an opportunity to expand your professional network, and exposure to the policymaking process in the Caribbean context.
Eligibility:
- Pursuing (or recently completed) an undergraduate or graduate degree with interest in public policy and/or communications.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with data platforms is an asset.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
